Well, if they are anything like Polaris' valves, take off the cap. After that there should be a couple of nuts or bolts that hold the valve housing on. After taking those off the valve "should" slide out if it isn't too badly coated with carbon. After than just use gas or similar and a brush to clean off the carbon. You can lightly use a scotch pad also. If the valve is stuck in the slot, that is due to exsessive carbon build up, might have to keep yanking on it for awhile, had to do that once with my XCR440 a couple years ago. It's pretty fool proof, just take em apart and you'll understand as you go.
