Indy Classic 500 utilizes the Edge chassis this year. It's powered by the same old, boring, 488 liquid cooled twin. Though rock solid reliable.

It has reverse, e-start and mirrors. MSRP is $6200.

Zl 550* esr uses cats tried and true 550 piston port with 38 mm carbs rated at 80hp... Like the other has mirrors, e-start and reverse.

Both good sleds.. The cat is heavier.

My wife has the Pol. 500 with the edge chasis. She loves it. The ride and handling are great. I beleive the motor in the Classic is the Jap built 488. The motor has been around a long time and is very proven. It is nothing for that motor if taken care of to go 7000 miles or more. The zl is a faster sled but sometimes speed isn't everything. They are both good sleds you can't go wrong on either. Weigh the options, price and dealer. Good Luck.
