there is about 2 inches now and it is still coming. They claim we may get up to 9 inchs. Only Calumet to copper harbor will get that. Saturday there is a chance of rain/snow mix. Other that that it looks like winter has finally arrived!

Hey guys, do you know what the cost is for the out of state sticker(Michigan) It is starting to look like I might have to visit the U.P. if I am to get any riding in this year,no snow here yet in North central Wisconsin. Any info you could give me would be greatly appreciated. The new CCE ZR 800 is ready to go I just need to find snow.

Thanks

snow in the houughton hancock area?

Postby Hazor » December 22nd, 2001, 11:40 am

I'm in Houghton now, we had a couple inches of snow but it has been raining all day/night. There is supposed to be some snow coming tomorrow and monday, how much and if it will last is a big question mark. I wouldn't make any plans to go riding here until mid-january at the earliest to be sure we have a ridable amount of snow.

I forget to mention, the best website for the weather and snow conditions in the Keeweenaw is: www.johndee.com

John is a local meteorologist and he has an awesome site with very accurate information.
