That new head you got won't raise the compresion of your motor, it raised the compresion ratio, which has nothing to do with the compresion. Your cylinders can only hold as much pressure as your piston rings will allow. But the higher the compresion ratio the more is squeezes the air/fuel mixture, so the hotter it burns the more power. Just a little FYI for you.

Thanks for the info, I was all bumbed out I wasted that much money and I thought it was for nothing...
