Newberry, MI... How many security precautions do you need to

Hey folk...

I'm from NW Ohio, going sledding in the UP of MI (Newberry) next week. This is the first snowmobile trip I've taken in 12 years, and back then I only did it that one time with a couple of clunkers. (I usually just ride around the country around NW Ohio.)
This year I have some nicer sleds and a brand new trailer. When you get done riding at night and retire to your hotel room, what should you do to protect your sleds and trailer from being messed with during the night? Are thieves or vandalls a big problem?

Also, is there anything to do at night in Newberry? Good restuarants, bars, etc...

Any help is appreciated!

Notta whole lot to do there but is one of the "larger" towns within 50 or so miles. There is a decent little bar on the south end of town on the east side of the road... can't remember the name of it though.

As far as safty of the sleds, just put em in you trailer at night and lock it up. You shouldn't have much of a problem though.

I have my trailer latch hooked up to my truck battery.

They really jump when they're standing in slush.

shut off yer gas and take off the plug wires...if anybody has balls enough to look under the hood in the middle of a parking lot at night and hook up the plug wires...he'll definately leave it lay along side the road after 500' and it runs out of gas!!!!!!!

Leave the keys in them with a big sign on them that says steal me. I bet know one will take them. The A$$holes that would even think about touching them would know what to think!! It has worked a nuber of times for me.
