help! & top speed

i got this sled no big problems. just small stupid lil things. i put on about 60 miles just kinda crusing around. i drove the sled all the way across the lake a WOT it was relly windy i went home to top it off with gas took off the gas cap, and the float and the U-shaped thinggy that holds the flot fell into the gas tank. i know how to get the float out. just fill it with gas but what about the metal thinggy? thanks for your help.

i got an 89 indy 500 SP whats the top speed on that sled? i got it up to about 80-85 when it was windy and the snow was 3-6 inches deep. The only mood that i know of is that the porting was clead up and the moter was re-bult. its also got 72(i think) studs.

That is about what that sled should run in the conditions you described. I had a 90 that ran about the same. My cousin at the same time had a 92 that would pull me just a bit on top end. As for the metal in your tank you could try a magnet tied to a string or you could use one of those long devices that when you push the plunger 3 or 4 prongs come out the end and clamp around the item you are trying to pick up. Hope this helps, as I am not sure what those things are called. maybe some one else dose.

how do you like thoes kimpex shox? i think they suck get fox or ryde FX. i got kimpex and they fade too fast for me.

i havent had a chance to use it yet because im still wating for the front trach shock, they are cheap but better then stock, i would like to get the fox kit
