about the old '94 mach 1, thanks for the advice on the frontend. how about the cylinder compresion? when i put this sled together,a couple years ago(bought it in a box--repo--)the cylinder comp. was 175-180, is that right?5% difference in the 2 cyl. i'm supposed to run a br9es plug, but keep fouling, will a br8es help. Yes this has been a project(FUN) but I got it for 325.00. And I love it. what can i do that don't cost a ton of cash to improve it. Thanks

175-180psi for compression??? That is EXTREMELY high. If that were the case you would have to be running 110 octane all the time. It takes 175psi for 110 to combust efficiently. You may want to recheck those. They should be down around 120-130psi range.

TRY BR9EV, THIS PRUG WONT FOUL AS EASY,AND THE COMPRESSION SHOULD BE AROUND 150 PSI ,PERFECTLY NORMAL FOR A 5 PSI DIFFERANCE ON THE 670 MOTOR.

THE HEAD ON MY 670 WAS SHAVED AND THE COMPRESSION WAS 170 PSI ON MAG SIDE AND 175 ON PTO SIDE. THE PROBLEM WAS, I WAS TOLD I COULD RUN PUMP GAS AND I WOUND TOASTING THE MAG SIDE.I SHOULD HAVE PUT OCTANE BOOSTER IN IT, PROBABLY WOULD HAVE SAVED THE MOTOR!
