I Think Its Over

Postby bad-ass-zx800 » March 12th, 2002, 5:56 am

Yup i think the winter of 2001/2002 well what winter we did have it pretty much over. After 1271 miles i dont think i will be putting another mile on the 02 zx800 this year. Im not giving up just yet you never know what could happen plus the tughill still has snow. I hope to get in a couple of more rides but we'll have to wait and see i guess. Even know the winter was s**tty 1200+ miles is not that bad all but i think 150 of them miles were riding the tughill and about 300 of them miles were on the TRASH RIDE 02 which was the highlight of my riding season man that was a blast. Oh well cant wait for the winter of 2002/2003 to come i hope its better than this year. And ya i am looking forward to TRASH RIDE 03 TRASHING THE TUGHILL LOL.

O ya im gonna start using the bad-ass name again. I will use the firekitty name when i order the F7 if i do.

I think your right. 1006 miles for me, two weekends in Tug Hill and one long weekend in Canada. I was towed for about 18 miles, did they register? I wasn't sure.

Well, we are suppose to get a couple of inches Friday, after all the other melts. Than warm back up for the weekend, melt that snow. And another storm coming through the first part of next week. Oh ya, are weathermen are finally predicting the weather right.

There was a SH!T LOAD of new snow on the hill when I left..........That should stretch the season a little bit .

I'm heading to the Hill this weekend for some more, hopefully it will be a bit better than last weekend:( I'm hoping to get a least 1500 before the season ends.

Not over for me...I can trailer ten miles and be on the "hill" last night (Monday) it was one of the best 80 miles ever- all groomed nice and cool temps- with couple rides hitting 2000- close to 1850 so far- time to clean up the clutch or wait til next season?

I saw it is supposed to be 40+ degrees on the hill the end of this week. wonder how that will affect the snow amounts? Might come up this weekend for one last time!??

40 plus degree has little leffect on tug hill see my reports under trail conditions- today 19" of snow and at near 32-35 today they hold even. There is plenty of places to go maybe not 150 mniles trips but if you want to ride...I just came back from the Coachlight in Brantingham and I heard Local people saying how bad it was last week end- well they didn't ride Monday night and don't know what's ten miles away by trailer...
