How Many Miles

Postby bad-ass-zx800 » March 20th, 2002, 5:18 am

Ok guys little boring around here today so how many miles have you put on so far this year. Ya i know some of you lucky SOB's are still riding YOU SUCK by the way. Since it looks like my riding is done for the year what little riding i did.

I ended up with 1280 miles. Not bad for the shi**y winter we had. Good thing for the tughill or i would have about 200 miles if that.

P.S if this question has already been asked i must have missed it. Im sorry if it has been asked already.

How Many Miles

Ok BadAss,
I haven't rode a lot this winter, not because I don't want to but because we've had too much snow. We tried getting into HooDoo 3 weeks ago and couldn't even get to the dope slope. There was three feet of powder on the road from the night before and that was at low elevation(5,000 feet.) HooDoo ridge is around 9,000. Also the heavy snows this year have us dropping like flies here. Seems like there's at least a death a week here from avalanches. Years ago I didn't pay much attention to snow conditions but since being in a small avalanche I've changed my ways. We should get in some great late spring riding tho, maybe into late may or early june. :)

1850 so far and all but about 50 grass dragging miles have been put on at the Hill. Rumor is the Hill has gotten over 10" since lastnight and its still coming down good. Not the light fluffy stuff either! Looks like I will make the 2000 mark before my time is up. Hopefully I get to ride the Hulk again this weekend, what do you say Ed?

Almost 3,500. Living in Alaska does have it's advantages you know. You guys should to Canada, the conditions are pretty much the same, and I hear they have free health care. (I already have enough neigbors)

Hey Treewhacker! HooDoo 3? Wow, Haven't rode there in ...about 11 years. I would bet that Tailgunner has been there as well! Have fun!

How Many Miles

Postby kawicat » March 20th, 2002, 6:45 am

all i see is bare ground. :---(

about 225 miles total the whole year. 50 were actually done on the trails, the rest were riding the "powder" that was caught in the ditch.
