Apparently there was a 3/4 ton dually driving across the ice in the main part of Rainy Lake two days ago. This is the last lake to freeze up in this area. There have been vehicles driving across the shallower lakes for about a week now. I think I'm going go go for a bit of a walk out there on my days off with my ice chipper. We need a helluva lot more snow here though. We're lucky if we have an inch and a half here.
