Winter hasn't given up here yet. The day started out Sunny and calm, had to use GPS to find our way back out. 3' new powder. Fell in a crevice and busted my windsheild. Visibility was down to 20' at times and our tracks were gone for about 10 miles. Thank goodnes for GPS.

LOL @ Snirt. I know how our troops feel trying to navigate in low visibility. It would be nerve racking knowing the other side is laying waiting to ambush you.

That's why I'm so addicted to it, when I'm out there in the middle of nowhere, all my worries are gone, don't think about any of the problems of everyday life, the war, taxes and such. May as well be on the moon.

Whacker - You normally post some really good pics, but I think that fleet of RX-1's you ride with are burning oil!! Way too much haze!! Time for a tune up, emission testing maybe??

Nice pics as always!

LMAO ZRT. Actually I was the minority there, I did get to try out a Demo Rev with the 144"X16" track. Chuck got to ride it too, made up his mind not to buy one. Should I post my impressions here or will the Doo guys gang up on me?

In the high country it can snow any day of the year. I was backpacking with a friend in mid August a couple of years ago, we made it to the garden wall in the Mission Range and a storm hit us. We barely got back down to our base camp, lost our directions in the blizzard. Most years, by mid june there's just pockets of snow. Some of it never melts...Glaciers
