MC, Most racers went to ski-doo REV not the Firecat where are you coming from with that LOL. If I would have went SX racing last year the Rev woud have been my NO.1 choice then Polaris then the Firecat.

the rev would be my choice too, if i wanted broken a-arms and sleds that do start after you get to the starting line.

cat isn't copying anyone with that design. the tunnel is huge, they don't have a gilligan seat or a "watercraft" seat. its a normal seat (how they should look).

i saw over at max sled that they are going to have a new motor too, what is there to improve? efi?

here's another picture:

snotcicles, I don't think Yamaha makes a SX sled to race LOL. Why not bring your Ski-doo,POL or Cat MX bike and go riding with me LOL.

Sound like you have a hard time letting go of the past. "a normal seat (the way the should look)"

Who says they should look a certain way. I welcome innovation and a shift from the norm it doesn't sound like you do.

I think cat needs a higher seat just so that you don't feel so lost behind the bars. I've never riden one, but sitting on them feels weird. Not that I would sit while I rode it:)
