the ZL has a nice ride but will not hold up to being beat on the bumps like the mxz. Does the zl have the electronic shock ?

I have a 2002 summit 800 and I love it, and haven't had any problems yet. But, I feel that I must mention the ring issue. That engine has a bad history of flaking rings. However, every story I have heard of rings flaking was on a Summit. Perhaps because mountain sleds are abused WAY more than a trail sled. I don't know. I think you would be o.k. with the MXZ.

LMFAO, SALTY!!! YAH...OOOO K....that old man's sled will hang with the best of them in the SH!T trail..........LOL
....depends on the rider...have raced thru mogul infested trails with the rest of them, if the rider knows how to ride the sled, they're all the damn same!
