Look at them side by side and decide which one looks better - they are both solid sleds.

One thing to keep in mind - if you don't have a garage full of tools and a lot of free time - you might want to go with the Doo.
Recently I was asked to play in a golf tournament.

At first I said, "Naw, I haven't been playing that well."

Then they said to me, "Come on, it's for handicapped and blind kids."

Then I thought...

Chit, I could win this!

Yer not comparing apples to apples! An MXZ is a mogul buster - a ZL is not. The ZR will match up with the MXZ. If you ride hard and beat on the sled - go with the MXZ, if you want a softer ride, go with the ZL. Motor wise, they're about the same.

it depends what trails you ride. if you like sno-cross wannabee mogal trails i would say go with the mxz. if you are planning on riding smooth groomed trails only, go for the zl.

Dude you gotta get a ZR 800 not a ZL 800.They are a little firmer ride. But you can drive them a little harder.Without a doubt get a zr.And make sure it has efi.I have a 02 ZR 800efi with 9000 trouble free miles.you will love it.
