Here's the scoop:
3 srx's, an Rx-1, Two f-7's, and two rev 800 HOs...took to the lake saturday for some informal braggin rights....they ran 7 drags...1/2 mile on flat, fast ice...it was warm temps were around 40....the results were the same almost every race...the Rx-1 was first followed by two srx's, one of the firecats, the slower of the three srx's, a firecat 7 and the revs bringing up the rear...the best any of the firecats could do was 4 in any of the 7 drags, beating only one of the yami's.....ALL OF THESE SLEDS WERE MODIFIED...clutched, studded silencers...etc....the rx-1 had a pipe kit, it sounded like a race bike, and had a clutch kit...everybody thought in such a short race the firecats or the revs would win....not so...the Rx-1 surprised the hell out of me...it smoked everybody out of hole, and kept right on going winning by two to three sled lengths every time, and it was always followed by the two modded srx's...it was close between the firecats and them...had the track been longer the srx's would have pulled away....AGAIN THIS WAS BARROOM RUNNING WHAt ya brung fun between friends....BUT THE RESULTS SPEAK FOR THEM SELVES
