Actually I heard tonight a friend wrote off his F-cat on the lake...he supposedly rolled it or crashed it hard enough somehow on the lake to take the track right off. Do you know anymore about it yet mechanic buddy? lol.

Ken, all F-Cats pipes were outsourced for manufacturing by another company. This company has been found to have very poor quality standards and has since been released as no longer to be the producer of the pipes. The parent company, Polaris industries, has not been reached for comment.
An inside source who has aked to not be identified, said that there has been alot of grummbling from the parent company about these F-CATs and how they are looking for ways to distract CAT customers and maybe make them look else where. So far, this has not affected any CAT owners as they are very pleased with the service and care that the dealer has provided and Acrtic Cat Inc has provided.

BTW zrcat I think Cat should think of inhouse building as all the problem that have affected the F7 have been from outsourced parts

FireCats may have reliability problems??? Now there's the understatement of the year. But of course, the pipes are sourced from outside, just like the detonating skis, so it isn't Cat's fault, they just buy cheap and assemble inferior parts. I'll ask the question again, is there anything on the F-Cat that Cat manufactures themselves, or is it just a bunch of old Norwegian ladies inserting tab B into slot A?
