Did you ever ride one with the ss mm? (ss mm lol)They actually rode pretty good, way better than any and I mean ANY Yamaha I ever rode. It was a matter of economics and you know it you pot stirer.LOL you can build a bypass system way cheaper than the ss and get almost as good of ride.
A picture is worth a thousand words.

yea its funny that any yami rider would put down a rear skid from another manufacturer. I rode a few yamis & these things are inferior compared to what else is out there. The test riders at yami must stay on groomed trails & roads. Come to think of it so do yami riders!
TO COLD! TO DEEP! TO ROUGH! SLOW DOWN! is what I here from these guys

MM, Cadillac bought the rights to the "Smart-Shock". Must not have been to bad of an idea.

To costly, worked great. It just goes to show what company can pull out the stops when it comes to technology. An active suspension, gee, slam CAT for coming up to market with it.

Hey guys don't trash another man's sled unless you've rode one yourself.I have had them all and the ss system is the best (trail) set-up yet.I believe the problem arctic cat had with continuing, was the fact that it increased the cost of the sled by about 1,000 bucks. It's like all the other (new products)Time, refinement and competion will improve.I'm guessing about two years it'll be back and all the yellow dog lovers can have it on their sleds too.
