Its funny how the same moron that is bashing Tug Hill is inquaring about a house for sale in the Adirondacks. Or was that suppose to be just your summer home?

No grooming, everyone is drunk, too rough, no signs,
everywhere you stop is a dump, all riders are trying to
kill you,every experience is a bad one...

Having ridden Iowa, Minnesota, Ontario, Quebec, Wisc, and
thd U.P.. Colorado and wstern NYS, Old forge and Tug Hill
I'd say I've had some bad experiences but not enough
to post "glittering generalities" or "bias sterotypes" and
half truths.

But where would this forum be without TRASHING?

First off bright bulb, tug hills outside the park, and i have a relative thinking about a summer place in the daks. Thats why i asked, i guess i should have passed it by you? And again tough guy, you wont be seeing me at the next bar there swervy skis.

Zr800newyork, I'm sorry if i have talked down about the area where you live. I didn't mean to offend you, i got outta control in my rant. I love most of upstate NY and i'm not a suburban whiner. I deer hunt, bass fish, ice fish and sled. I fully realize upstate is where its at when it comes to those things. My area is filling up with city transplants and I would love to head north some day. The deer and turkey hunting is probably killer up there and i would probably have a blast hunting up there, I just can't stand to ride there, so i brought it to the bash board. Again sorry if i offended you.

well Mr. Goody-two-shoes, I guess we will never meet up to ride. That is seeing you NEVER touch a drop while out riding. Thats ok, stay off the Hill and allow me to have a good time without having to put on an act for you. Besides, why should I take my money outside of NY, when NY has everything that I need to have fun.

You Rock-On Snowman!! If you like doing a 45 mile, 24 beer day thats your choice. You have a blast hardcore!! A beer or two with lunch is one thing, bar to bar riding is a waste of riding time to me. sorry.

Wow.....has this thread taken off since the morning......

But come'on TS, the "hill" could use a couple more signs.

And to defend grooming, all the guys that groom are volunteers!! NYS doesn't paid them. How would you like to spend 6 to 8 hours in a groomer from say 10 to 4 in the morning?

The clubs on the hill do a good job.

All the clubs in NYS are REALLY steping up!!!

I have never had a problem with drunk punks on "The Hill", but the moguls do get the best of it on the weekends. My experiences are close to yours XCtor, because I usually ride on the weekends. The times I have been there during the week are totaly different. My friend tells me of two places, "46 Corners and Point Rock", that are good trails during the weekend, mainly because there are no bars to draw the people you do not wish to meet. Check them out, but get a map because there's few signs!

hey, XC...man where the hell do u ride on the hill because everywhere that i ride its beautiful...i mean u'll run into alot of whoops but that's what snowmobiling is all about. hey at least it aint boring...o yeah, the sleders up their r great lol..u can bull**** with em' for hours..
