Yea!!! ..Big deal Mainecat!!!...5 percent???...Of the 4 companys...arctic cat is the most financially unstable...How many shares do you own Mainecat????...lol..are they framed on your wall???.....LMAO!!!!....the only company that has gained in market share each year since 1999 is Yamaha..a 5 percent gain one year is nothing, if they can show a 5 percent gain three or 4 years ina a row, now that would be something....mark my words they will loss 5 to 7 percent market share this year..to converts who move to one of the other three brands..Yamaha and Polaris have totally new models coming out, with new suspensions and looks...anybody who defected to Cat from either of those two companies will be coming back home...Cause Cat blew their wad with the f-cats and sabrecats last year, now the people who are dissatisfied with those machines will be going back to their brand loyalities.....laugh and say what you will sled heads jump brands way more than you think....alot more than they would with their cars or trucks...so the bottomline is 5 percent means nothing..if they don't keep doing it for the next 3-5 years....and I don't see Cat having the ammunition to keep people on those lime green lemons...I see lots of Cat owners becoming Yamaha, Polaris, or Doo owners next year.... ;)

here's what i gather by these posts from mainecat and studs:arctic cat snowmobile sales grew 5%,from 96 million to 100.9 or 5 million dollars=5%,and studs says that the average price for a new sled is 6380 dollars,so lets assume they go by cost to dealers which is probably half of retail,so $3190.now 5million divided by 3190 is 1567,so 1567 would be 5% of sales times 20 for a full 100 percent and that would mean their total sled sales was 31340.now studs also says there was 114,927 sleds sold in u.s. last year and 50,209 in canada,so total north american sales 165,136,if this is true the other 3 manufacturers sold a total of 133,796 or roughly 4 times as many sleds as arctic cat.

:Z

5% sled sales NOT market share

I bet they all had increases this year especially with the early snowfall in the Midwest

declining market???

How about in a weather volatile market:W

BTW you can buy a new 2003 Pol XC700 for $5999ca/$4650us here

That is a good deal IMO even if its a Poo:B
