Best years for Cat?

Postby Wildcat700EFI » January 31st, 2004, 11:20 am

I've talked to quite a few older guy's that have a 1980, 0r 90 cat that just runs for ever and they never had a problem with them. After reading this board, I'd have to conclude that the recent cats are crap. When were the best years for cat. I have a 94 Wildcat, is this crap? How about my 2000 Ski-Doo LC500? Set me straight please.

and this is what i turned mine into. sorry about the bad quality. and yea its got the complete muffler system, with filter and jet kit. lol. only thing i needed was new tires and handlebars and it wouldve been done. traded it in instead though.

The bigger the technology the bigger the problems. High tech means high performance, and also brings with it high maintenence.
