Should Mirrors Be........ STANDARD EQUIPMENT

I know alot of people will bash this idea but think......look what they have done to the front light they used to be lame,now they look kinda tough like Flaming Eyes.Certainly manufacturers could mold small pivot mirrors that wouldn't have to look "SLOW":) The reason I thought of this is that a friend at work, also a sledhead told me some one died around kalkaska because they went off the trail from turning around to look back?? Don't think this happens very often though.. But you got to admit mirrors are helpful.

ya mirrors are helpful but i dont think i would buy any.Ive tried the mirror that u wear on the back of your glove and it worked pretty good.

Wouldnt ride without them. However alot of people with them don't use them. Drives me nuts when I go to pass someone with mirrors and they don't even know I'm there. I always lead and there is no better way to keep and eye on everyone.

All cars and trucks come with mirrors as standard equipment, enough said. I have had them for years but that doesn't mean I'm slow :).

I've had em for years and am lost without them. Kind of like when your wrist watch stops working. But I'am old, and a lot of the younger riders I know, don't like them.

I wouldent want them because i wouldent use them. i never look back well the odd time i might just to be sure my buddies are coming because i had it where they broke down and i just keep riding :B but after a few km i relize and go back for them

I put them on for when i go with the wife and kids, but I will never own a sled with out them now. I don't like too look back at any speed. I always lead when I'm with friends and I keep close tabs on everyone. Been with too many people that crash and its no fun looking for someone over a bank.

in the times it took to look back you could be wrapped around a tree or eating someone's bumper. if you need to "see" where your riding buddies are get the helmet communicators.

i saw a polaris this winter that had mirrors wider than the ski stance. what was the guy doing pulling a boat with his sled?
