689, I suck at this one. I played a similiar "clean" version for like 4 hrs at work 1 day. I maxed out the score and got bored.

HEY BIG J WALT I HAD THE CLEAN VERSION TOO AND AFTER I THOUGHT I HAD MAXED IT OUT MY WIFE WAS PLAYING IT ONE DAY AND ALL OF A SUDDEN SHE GOT TWICE THE MAX SCORE I HAD PREV GOT. I THINK THAT STUPID GAME AFTER 1000 TRIES OR SO FEELS SORRY FOR YA AND BUMPS UP THE SCORING ALL OF A SUDDEN.

It was a hit with the boys in Equipment Maintenance today..but it reminded one senior specialist of the game called pendant baseball. Back in the late 60's when there were, ahem, more 'radical' employees here, amongst the 40,000 others, one of the favorite games was to hit the overhead crane pendants with a baseball bat and see how far/high you could make them swing, or how much damage could be inflicted. It made for very interesting repair requests the following shift.
I did not participate in this extreme sport, but stayed with welding can and drill tube rockets (compressed air is a wonderful and entertaining thing).

1053. That little bugger really flies!

The long distances are purely luck. If it don't hit at least 3 mines before the bugger hits the ground it won't break 900. That's what I found in my couple hours playing it anyway. :B
