F1000/F-8 vs. 4 stroke comparable sleds...

..what 4 stroke sleds are comparable(if any) to Cats new F1000 and/or the F-8....do any of the sledmakers make a comparable 4 stroke sled performance wise? Will there be any comparisons made between any of Yamahas high performance 4 strokes and these two sleds...or will a turbo still be needed for them to compete(or an ISR rule)....really jus askin...

No comparison Skunk. I don't know of any 4 strokes (including the 660) that would break down as often or stink as bad.

No expensive turbo needed to beat any of the new two strokes in a straight line. Jus a little 60 hp happy button an say bye bye. The smoke was getting in my eyes.

Yammie is coming out with a two litre sled so that they can compete in the 1000 cc class.

2 smurfs respond but no real answer...so for now I can only assume that stock for stock Yamaha has nothing to compete with the F1000 or the F-8....

Skunk are you at marval with the new cat lineup? Posted hp of the f8 is rumored to be 145 the apex is 150. Next case fantasy racing the f1000 is 165. And the apex is a four banger. Again do we need to have this talk.lol

I bet nobody would put that Apex Yam up against the new cats(F1000 or F-8) in a real world X-country type terrain race that has no rules but to see who is fastest from point A to point B....in fact doesn't ISR still allow that Yam to run against the 600 2 strokers in sanctioned racing?....so according to the racing people the Apex is comparable to the 600 2 stroker...but for us the general public we can compare the Apex to the new cats?...really I am just asking as I am trying to put the different sleds into the proper groups for a fair comparison...how close are they in weight again? the apex and and the F1000 or the F-8?...

sorry..what first ?.....?...the one asking if I am at 'marvel'....if that is the one then no I don't get 'marveled' over sled releases....the new bulkhead will be interesting to see..I pretty much know how the rest of the sled works...you do have to admit that from the pictures an knowing a bit about the new chassis/bulkhead that the fit n finish issue may have been addressed soemwhat....plus 120+ mile an hour is more than most sledheads can handle in the real world...so if it can top that mph then the riders who can hold it there will do just fine...
