Arctic Cat Inc. said Thursday it will eliminate 65 positions, or about 4 percent of its workforce, in order to cut costs and align resources with current business conditions.
The snowmobile and all-terrain vehicle manufacturer said the cuts, which are effective immediately, will primarily effect its operations in Thief River Falls.

Maybe Cat and Polaris should hook up. Cat could concentrate on sleds and Pol on the bike/ATV side of things.

Because Yamaha is a freaky foreign company news of layoffs and financial performance goes unreported here. The sled market is shrinking for EVERYONE.

Hoi hoi no build sleds today you go build saxaphones...chop chop

I don't see how that would help...
It wouldn't make unit sales increase.

Take Pols 30% share and Cats 20% share now you have ONE company selling about 75,000 units. The break even point is said to be somewhere around the 25,000 unit mark. Just a thought.
