Can you beat 31.2??

Political tool game - how high can you get??

90% of it is calculated by the vehicle you drive and the miles - I counted the miles from both of our vehicles. Flights make little difference - your energy costs make no difference.

Buddy - If I just change my vehicle type to a Prius, I drop to 8.8 - I thought you said they were worse than a hummer!
Recently I was asked to play in a golf tournament.

At first I said, "Naw, I haven't been playing that well."

Then they said to me, "Come on, it's for handicapped and blind kids."

Then I thought...

Yeah they take into account the amount of energy and pollution is created to process Nickel... aka batteries plus the prius itself.

I'm a 14.35... 7.5 national average? WTF! I only drive 10k miles a year and only 2 in the household!!! Seems like anybody else I talk to has a higher gas bill and the same or higher electric bill as me.

You can change your bill $ on that dealy and it doesn't change your score at all. Neither does the state or number of people in your household.

yeah it does, I went from $75-$100 to $200-$250 on electric and it practically doubled my score (my bill averages $85, everything is electric exept heat), however the gas amounts don't change it too much. Elevtric bill amount seems to make the largest impact. Thing is, I've considered getting a small wind genereator on the roof of the house. Just need to learn a bit more before I plop down the cash for one.

BTW, I thought you had to choose for heating oil and propane, I don't use either so my score is actually 13.7

If I figure in wifey's Alero vs the Avalanche I get 11.75... must be since most people in big cities hardly drive they lower the average considerably. I get a 7.5 only if I put 0 miles on the Av.

I get a 4.2 and yeah a Prius is worse than a Hummer when lifecycle energy is taken into account. But the site only counts the fuel.

But then again its backed by Offset Gore and gang.
