Holy sticker shock!

I went to Gander Mountain to pick up some ammo for next weekend's hunting trip to Montana. WTF???? I normally load my own but am running short on time and seeing as several of the rounds fired out west are just for directing traffic, I figured the factory loads would do the job. You can't buy anything in 270 short mag for less than $50 a box. Even plain old 270 Win rounds for the boy's gun have doubled in price. I have all the stuff to reload about 100 rounds for me, brass is trimmed and ready, plenty of Barnes X 130's and powder, the only thing missing is the time to get them done. I think for $3/round, I'm gonna FIND some time

Those goats have been shot at for 2 weeks by the time we get to em, the only sneaking up on them is by coming over a hill at 65 in the Dodge and seein' how fast you can get er whoa'd up, get out, and shoot. Ask Ice, sometimes I even forget to put it in park! LOL

AR-15 in a .223 cal and a 100 round clip. Shells are about 25 cents (?) each.
Let the lead fly when you crest the hill from standing in the box...Like on the old Rat Patrol tv series.

If you do make that run Benoy, remember there is a new Fleet Farm at 35W and Lexington. Don't have to make the trip all the way to Maplewood.

I'm pretty good at the ol' Chuck Connor move with da wheeler travelling about 50 per. An auto with a big clip might come in handy but it would have to be of the military variety in order to keep firing in the amount of dust you get out there. The Remington model 742 wouldn't fire 4 shots out there without seizing up like a DemonGaYde.
