Theres a "summerization function" for the 800 etec & 600 etec. It puts extra oil in motor then shuts its self off when its done. To answer the oil pump question yes it does have a electric oil pump which is monitored by the ecm.
It is not uncommon to use up to three quarts of oil during the first tank of fuel on Ski-Doo 800 E-Tec models!
During the initial engine break-in period the 800R E-Tec will consume a fair amount of oil. Ski-Doo wnats to be absolutely shure that the engine is well protected during thos first few hours of operation. That's why the oil tank is full when you take delivery of a new 800R E-Tec - the first tank is on them! After the initial break-in period is complete (around 500 miles or so) the oil consumption will settle down to a greatly reduced rate, in comparison"
