if you ever finish the runabout and the top is runnin as it should, you'll waste him on any lake under 3 miles across...anything more then that, bout the time he's miami vice'n on ahead he'll bingo and have to turn around.....I hope this info mind fks you with some incentive....

if a 16 ft boat goes 55, how fast would a 32 ft boat would have to go to get the same thrill?

totally dependant on the days chop....if the 16'er is maintainin 55 when the seas er angry, the 32 would have to be doin about 245 er so to match the cooler emptyin, seat bustin, havin that smell of blood in yer nose and puke taste in yer mouth rush

Try to run on the Great lakes in 2 foot seas in that 16 foot boat at anything above plane speed ha ha ha don't make me laugh.

I parked a 18' boat cause small lakes are boring.......lake st clair, 80 mph better believe it! twin 454 supercharged @7psi well over 1000hp

They asked my neighbor with his Fountain boat to fill in for the pace boat which was broke down. Leading the fast guys around a 15 mile oval in lake Huron with the flagman in the boat with us was a blast.

Pace boat broke down I know these things need so much work.I put 5 hours work to 1 weekend of boating.pissed 600+ gallons away so far and gas is the cheapest part!


Races look like fun. I have been to a couple fun runs to lunch also a sight too see.
