Heat Shields... Cat copied?

Did ya all see the Cat and Yami's new exhaust heat shields? They have their names stamped in them... Didn't Ski Doo come up with this first?...... Yes, they DID didn't they.

Hey Maingey, all the little things add up!! Afterall, the other three brands have been copying doo since 1959! Yes, it's true, it's true, small light weight sleds, 2 stroke powerplants, the molded rubber drive cog, big factory race teams! you name it, doo more than likely did it first!!!!

DOO did alot of first's. Ones that really weren't worth copying. Light weight sleds??!! Maybe the last year or so. DOO knows how to do it, it just ain't right sometimes. hehehe....

How about CAT being the first to mount the engine in front... CARBS and all. Not the nut burner, but completely enclosed. Aluminum belly pan, hmmmmm. I could go on if you'd like.

Things not worth copying???!!! How about the rubber track? When was the last time you saw a cleated track on a new cat? 1979 I think? As for being heavy, well the PRS doos were a little on the beefy side, but lets not forget the 650 Wildcat was no lightweight either! can you say bulbus tanker!!! I thought you could! I will give you this the front mounted engine was a great idea, but the 17 1/2 track made you walk around like some old cowboy, talk about a wide seat!

Maxi Maxi... Ski-Doo leading the way in lightweight sleds HA HA HA . If it was not for cat starting lightening up sleds 7 or 8 years ago new sleds would weigh 600 lbs. Oh YEAH remember the Formula III Ha what a load.
