Sled Nicknames!!

Just wondering what you guys call some sleds where you live. I've noticed that this is different from place to place.
I'll post mine when I have time. You already know what I call my F-III.

Sled Nicknames!!

Well you guys might find this amusing but just about everything around here is known as a ski-doo. When someone plans on buying a new machine they never say "I am buying a new snowmobile" they say "I am buying a new ski-doo"! This applies whether its a Ski-Doo, Yamaha, Polaris or Arctic Cat. I guess that goes back to the days when Ski-Doos were pretty much the only thing to get around here.

Also a lot of people refer to their machines as "boggins". So you could hear someone say "I think i'll go for a ride on the ole boggin tomorrow". I know this sound a little different but thats just the way it is I suppose.

Hey Newf, I know what you mean years ago two friends of mine that moved to Alaska came back home and that's what they called everything up there. They said they would go skidooing.

I used to refer to my ZRT with a seemingly endles list of four letter words that would get censored in a second on this board. They've since been replaced by words like "this thing's such a joy compared to that... (censored)" or "what took me so long to get rid of that pile of crap."

Most of the time my 1978 Polaris RXL is refered to as the Hot-Rod and We call my 1973 Polaris Starfire Racer the Staion Waggon because of the seat length.
