Just got back from the shawno wsa race, tucker won stock with blair second, tate third. Blair won open, tucker dnf, amashlo (sp?) 2nd after levi got into trevor john in the last corner, john recovered for third. Semipro, Steve Martin won, from a back row start! 3rd year semipro champ judneck took second after 465 crashed and can't remember who took third. Nice track, but no where near the fan turn out that Lake Geneva gets (and if it did, there would be no where to put the people...) Stands were nice, you could see the entire track. Not very many pros there, only two heats each round. Justin Tate had a nice qualifying heat going first round in stock until he bobbled on the last lap, letting blair by. First round stock, Tucker won coming from last place. Second round stock tucker could not hold off blair. I won't bore you with any more of my notes...

yeah, please tell us more! You say Tucker didn't finish in open? didn't he even qualify for the final or what?

And too bad Shaun Crapo didn't have another awesome weekend - he deserved more!

Alright a couple of more,
In first round pro open qualifying, morgan was out front, at first it looked like crapo ran him down, but the next lap, can't remember who was third but was also catching him, then figured it was a mechanical, about 50 feet latter his sled died. He went on to win the 2nd round and transfered directly to main.
Yugi had a rough weekend. Was riding ok, in a transfer spot in the lcq then crashed on the last lap battleing with ipsen for the final spot (stock). then in open he dnf'd second round, they got his sled running just in time for the lcq, got a good start running in transfer position then fell off, no main for him.

Didn't understand why the pro open lcq only had 5 riders, if there is a enough space, why not invite all those that didn't direct transfer to the lcq?

Tucker had the holeshot in open final, then going into the second corner he had contact with I think wolf. Not sure if that contact had something to do with the DNF or if it was just his sled letting go. He was watching the race on the first big jump, everytime Blair would go by he would give a little "look back" to rub it in...Probably was just goofing with him.

Semipro riders, some of them were more agreesive over front section jumps than the pros - I know that's not always the fastest way but it looks good!

I think the casino would want it back and the fans would want it back, but do you think it's a big enough venue? It'll sell out, but how many fans do you think the grandstands hold - my guess would be 3,000 max. I think it was a blessing in disguise that it was so cold Sunday, I know I would've been pissed to spend $20 and wouldn't been able to see anything because of too many fans, and it being standing room only. If they have it there again, they should think about adding seating around the track, just my opinion.
