Its amazing on how big the engines are in the Hillcross sleds now..i think i read someone having a 955 cc PSI engine in his hillcross sled...Just 2 years ago the pros only had 711's...with 155 horsepower..now they have 210 horsepower with the same weight...its amazing the technology...

It is amazing dude.And the scary thing is they are only getting better.Try get a ride on a open class snowcrosser.I tried my pals open class rev last year.He has a 800 bored to 990 with twin pipes.It holeshots so hard you gotta put your weight over the bars to prevent a catwalk.Its f~u~c~k~i~n~g nuts.

we just use little 600 triples here in Michigan for enduros, although they average 170 hp.

Hey bs, I think you might be a little high on your horsepower figures for 600 cc triple enduro engines. 170 h.p. would be a very stout figure for a radical 600 cc drag race engine desgined to run for 5 or 6 seconds without grenading, let alone an engine that has to run for hours on end. I'd say 155 to 160 h.p. might be more in the ballpark for an enduro engine.

ok 160 to 170 is more like it, point being the horse power verses the rpm and amount of run time intended for the enduro sleds make the snowcrud sleds seem weak,
