What happen to Rick Hissom's USSA Sprint sled?

Since we are searching for older sleds, anyone know were Rick Hissom #58 USSA Sprint 500cc sled and motor went too? Think it had a 503 doo it. The last time i saw it was in the 98-99 season? That too was a neat chassis and motor. I know he sold it, but never saw it again.

ANYONE KNOW WERE THAT ONE IS?

Yes, Brian Hissom's(USSA #52)father. Rick raced a few years in USSA Sprint 500. he won at Bessemer MI. think in 1998 with it. The Great Skip(yoo)was announcing at that race too.

great people, Joan also was on the Executive Board of Directors with USSA for a few years.

What ever happened to Brian Hissom? Between he and Chad Ramesh when they rode Doos, they usually cleaned up all the stock classes.

Not sure about his fathers sled..but Brian Rode a Cat..talented rider..too bad cat never signed him the next year, and he quit racing.

MM, I don't remember Brian riding a Cat. Maybe it was before Ski-doo, but he was on Doo a number of years.

Brian rode Doo his last couple years, Doo signed Ramesh and let Brian go..... The Hissoms live in Eagle River, they have Superior excavating which is located north of the derby track on Hwy 45....

Watcher, thanks again for the compliment. Yea I remember all to well announcing in Bessemer, and watching Hissom race. Great sled and driver. Sure would be good to see that sled back out racing again! Then again it sure would be good to see someone resurrect that race. Everything is still there...even the Announcers Booth! Go by it all the time on the way to the big Copper Peak Snowmobile Hillclimb. Now for the nice compliment, where do I send the money?
