Exactly what I was thinking too Chris. Jacques is a tough competitor and has many years to go. He has had some bad luck but all in all he never should be counted out.

Speaking of bad luck, Sorry to hear about your injury. Hopefully you are on the mend and will be back at it soon. Congrates on fast time at ER.

yes Jacques was fast on Saturday but his ribs we're giving him a hard time on Sunday combined with those bumps coming on the backstrech we're surely not helping. i have great actions shots from Sunday. Fellows and Jacko side by side entering third turn.

How was the sled count? How many Champ sleds?
Were there many stockers?

There were few stockers, 3 or 4 fans, maybe 6 or 7 440L stockers and another 4 or 5 600L. There were only 3 real fan Sprints, The semi Pro Champs were 11 and then the Pro Champ class was 10 if my memory is correct.

On a positive note there are some new faces and a ton of Vintages in every class.

It was a weekend that makes you wonder why we do this at all. First 5 minutes the crank lets go on the generator and goes through the case.

Sled would go fast as long as we could have had a rolling start. 0 holeshot, we gave them a good 150ft headstart to keep it fair, but that was too much. The competition obviously did not understand that they should wait for us.

Sunday started better, we ran a lead to another trailer for power, and the sled seemed to want to go, then the upper A-arm bolts let loose. DNF

Second race, all is fixed, pull up the to line, drops one side, Plug??? Nope, no fuel at all, not even out of the needle. Borrowed a sled for the points.

We found the pulse line full of water when it thawed in the shop.

SO now we have new fuel pump, replaced carbs with dry ones and a new Primary clutch, It may have been part of the bog.

Can't wait to get to Canaan to see if its better.
