Terrain X Races on WSA PRO-ICE

Wsa pro-ice is having terrain x races at 4 locations this year the races are not very well known so I am trying to get more people to come and race. The tracks are set up on unplowed lake tops with left and right turns. The track is set up to be a drivers track its run what you brung racing. This is one of the only times size doesn't matter. The dates are 1/5-6 at DETROIT LAKES MN 2/9-10FREEPORT MN 2/16-17 GARRISON MN. If you have any ?'s post it and I will answer it.These are 1 day races and are for all skill levels. Grab your trash talking friend and the tank he rides and show him who the better driver is on the track and not on the trail.

Do you have to have tunnel enclosures on your sled?

Also, you said these were one day events, which day? and do you go through qualifying, or you go by elapsed time or what? What classes also?

You doen't need tunnel enclosures. We run 3heats 3-5 laps on a .5mile track +/-,an LCQ and a final. There are 5-6 drivers per heat depending on how many poeple show up.In the past we didn't run classes because we only had about 10 people show up, but it was set up to be classed if we had enough drivers to make classes by skill level. There are no limits on sled size you run what you brung, its set up to be a drivers race.

There is usually a small red enclosed trailer all decaled with the wsa pro-ice sponsors off to the side of the pits somewere,at D.L. it should be to the far left of the pits this is the reg.trailer. There is no pre reg., no limits on studs or carbides. There is one race each day sat&sun 2 races per weekend . The D.L. race IS ON I talked to the owner myself.
