Changed the tank to the larger tank....get the kit. I changed tank and steering loop, but keep the handle bars forward by putting in a block so a person can still go into forward stand up. Also switched to low lug track off a 99 edge. Geared up....played with a lot of gearing....depends on your weight what will seem to work best. The gearing I have is a bit lower than my friends, but I am shifting the clutches out full to get better speed. As luck would have it, there isn't enough snow to be in the ditches and woods yet so we are Ice racing on the lakes. This is not necessarily my favorite since the set up has to be so good and there isn't a lot of room for error in the corners. Also changed pilots to 30's and dropped the needles. Jetting has been stock alot....using race fuel. Get the low octane head kit if you are going to trail ride. Just have to install the head, re jet and back down the timing switch one notch. Hoping for snow.
