Voice Your Concern About Trail Closure

Some phone numbers to call to let the politions know how you feel in regards to the closure of the trail system in NY (non NY residents may call as well) and what they are doing about it.

New York State Senate:
Senator John DeFrancisco : 315-428-7632
Senator Nancy Lorraine Hoffman : 315-478-0072

U.S.Gov't:
Congress:
Senator Charles Schumer: 315-423-5471
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton: 315-448-0470

Congressional Members:
House of Rep.
Cogressman James Walsh: 315-423-5657

Lets not sit idle and let others (clubs) do the dirty work. The more people that call, the better. The poilitions DO keep track of the calls, and should some do nothing, remember election time.

The clubs need our help. So even if you don't belong to a club, put some pressure on our elected officials. Let's ban together much like we did on West Yellowstone. Come to think of it, what are the chances of tree huggers behind this insurance issue?

Happy Trails

Thanks for your help and input. Not only did I write the Gov. and Pres. Hillary, I also called each of the people listed on the post. Incidently, Sen. DeFrancisco is in charge of the state's tourism dep't. So I was told that he is deeply concerned. We'll see. And we need more than just the 4 of us to write and call.

Thanks again,
ACZL
