I'm looking for 1974 El Tigre' parts.
For starters my wish list includes 2 head temp guages
with senders and a tach.
Secondary parts would include a decent seat and track.
The overall sled is in really good condition but starting to
show it's age.

Me and my buddies just built a new snowmobile site. If you like to BS with other sledders and meet other riders, check it out. Don't worry--we're not trying to sell you anything...we just like to screw around. Visit our message board and join in on the fun.

Just sorta wondering, but I have a beat up '79 Jag 3000 F/C. Parts that could be replaced are the bellypan (though that would be a pain to replace what with the millions of rivits), bumper, seat, throttle cable, break light, speedo cable, windshield, and a piston. This is a el cheapo sled that will run and be fun for the kids as is, so I dont want to blow a bunch of money on it. Right now I only need the piston, the others are just thoughts (Christmas is coming so I cant spend too much on toys for ME... but I might be thinking about a summer project). I think the carb is supposed to attach to the oil pump by some kinda cable which I might need too (there is a lever directly across from the throttle lever, attached to the same pivit rod, and it has a loop on it. I think that is supposed to atach to the oil pump lever because it is dierctly above it, it just makes sense, though it would not pull it to it's fullest extent, maybe you can tell me what that is all about).

OH... Also the hood vents, I think I saw em on your website, and the dash plug in (oposite of speedo that says arctic cat or jag, mine is too faded to see), and the Plug for the belly pan on the left side by the clutch. My dash is beat too, I was gona epoxy it but if you have the whole console that might be an option. Lotsa parts I know, but if you have them my Jag will look cool and make the guy I bought it from jealous LOL. If I get it running...

Thanks for your time.
