Hi,

I've been wrenching on this for a few days and finally got to take it out and see what bravos are all about. Plenty of low end torque, but from where the carb enters the jug I'm not sure if it's piston port or reed valve.

It's a whimpy sled in the medium/high end but very strong puller (for it's displacement) up to about 20mph. I suppose the clutch springs could be a bit weak and allowing it to upshift too fast. Good trail sled or for pulling a light loaded toboggan, though. We'll definitely have fun in the woods with it since it's small... only 102" track!

Here it is at Kruze Meadows near Lewiston, Idaho:

Exactly the same as mine, except mine needs a new track. Those are actually pretty sweet machines, my uncle rebuilt his, and we had her on the road doing 55 mph.

this is a project i need to finish! i have a bravo[its a blue one] no motor, mint shape. i have a 485cc phazer motor with no sled. anyone know where i'm going with this?

i measured it all out,it's going to be an extremely easy install.
96 picks,a little clutch work, ya,that'll work.
my plan is to take it to some drags next year with the polaris, run in 1 lunger, leave 1 plug wire off and limp it to the line. shut it down and open my hood like theres a problem, hook the wire up and wait until the other sled is running on the line, then start it and run.
wonder if that will get any attention? i think 1 run is all i'll get!

My buddy has one of those. You'll never get stuck and if you do...throw it out with one hand.
