Towing a "dead" sled ?

In the March issue of your magazine, it tells how to tow a dead sled.

I can't see anyone with a late model sled doing what was suggested, much less any other machine for that matter:

1-Tie the front bumper of the dead sled tight to the tow sled with rope or duct tape.
2-Using 2 drive belts & a tree branch.
3-Prop the rear of the dead sled onto the tow sled's seat or tunnel extension, & turn the skis 180 degrees.

After reading these ideas, I thought they should have been listed in the "What's Not" section of the What's Hot, What's Not" section.

I sure wouldn't want to leave a $10k sled in the woods, but I sure don't want to create more problems.

xcsp, those suggestions really work, i have used a couple of them in the past. we have generally used the #3 just to get the sled to a intersection of the trail and a road. in a pinch they will work.

the only time i have done this is to tow my friends 700 rmk dragon home with my M1000 but to i didnt use duck tape and i sugest no one use duck tape.
