Is it smallmindedness for a municipality to spend a FULL 46% of their city budget on the state mandated fire/police pension plan?

That doesn't even include the CURRENT police/fire pay & benifits.

typicly, what has happened is the money that was to be set aside to pay for the pensions was stolen and given away by the libs .....exiting gov. diamond jim doyle did this in wisco for 8 years.

Is that yer answer for EVERYTHING!??!?!!

I'm fairly sure you're not an idiot. 51 vs 49% anyway. So why make such a dumbass statement?
Are police & firemen considdered STATE employees in Wi.??? Does the STATE fund their pensions in Wi.??

Thats what your DUMBASS statement implies.

In Illanoy, police an firemen are MUNICIPAL employees. Pay an bennies are paid by the MUNICIPALITIES.

The STATE doesn't pay their salaries, OR their pension funds.
So, your idiotic diatribe about some gov. (OOOOOOOOOOOOOO,...LIBBY gov. ) spendin "set aside money" intended fer pensions, comes right out of the "neo-con statements for idiots" notebook.

Now, DON'T you feel stupid. (thats not a question)

FACT is, The state of Illinoy does mandate what the MUNICIPALITIES must contribute to the police/fire pension fund.
And its bankrupting many cities.
In EXACTLY the same way pension costs bankrupted GM and Chrysler.

Now that I've doubled your education level, you may need a nap. :W
