Champ teams need to be aware of the clarification of "air box pressurization rule".
The old rule simply stated you could not pressure the airbox BUT teams were getting around it by simply putting 1 or 2 small openings that would supposedly stop pressurizing.
The new rule is much less GREY and states that if you have a duct leading to your airbox that could possibly increase flow or pressure you must also have at least the SAME SIZE opening somewhere else in the air box to eliminate the possibility of pressurizing.
This will give the tech guys something to work with instead of just guessing wether or not a certain airbox is legal.
The new boost bottle rule is also in there.
I personally think both of these items are an improvement over last seasons rules. John H.
