How to create back pressure on homemade pipes please look

I have a 71 TNT 440 and I want to put straight pipes on it but I dont know how to create back pressure does anybody know how??!!

I would like to know this as well. As far as I can tell it involves enlarging and then shrinking the pipe to create a mini expansion chamber.

That was an interesting link and it shows that, unless your a machanical engineer, there's more to go wrong than right.It would be alot easier to shoe-horn a 583 RAVE into your TNT for major power gains and a white knuckle ride. Good luck

Does anybody know any tuned pipes that would fit a 71 tnt 440?

Now that I'm looking at it, the 583rave engine would fit (snug). But all the extra's take up alot of room i.e. twin pipes, oil tank, coolent tank, airbox etc. Then you have to plumb your heat exchangers. Now looking at, it would be alot of work and you wouldn't be able to ride with a hood. Be a hell of a machine though!

Do you have a 583 rave?
