are polaris dash ac or dc?????????? helpp

are polaris dash lights ac or dc i want to hook up a neon light thats 12 volts dc and im not sure if the dash ights are ac or dc

A/C, unless it has electric start. At that point
you have to install a rectifier in the sytem to charge the battery. Nothing else would justify the time or expense involved with the rectifier.

AC- check the service manual. Michahicks is correct.

yea i know know after i tried it, worked for 60 second then pop. stupid thing is i had a recitifer that i had for something else, oh well we learn from your mistakes
