gas mileage

from 9 to 13 you all know my sled, i herd thats bad for mine?!?! they say i should get 13 to 16???
i guss i excersize my right thumb too mutch.

2001 SRX700 I get 10-12 " honest" mpg at 3/4 trottle all day. Averaging 80- 110 mph. Can you FEEL it!!!LOL

I getting the same with my 2001 ZR800Le, somewhere in the 140-150 mile range with a full tank. I put in 410 mains and V Force reeds. I Think the reason behind the great mileage is because the engine is revving so low at trail speeds (40-45 MPH)all the time somewhere around 6000 rpm. I never have to worry about looking for gas if Im riding with a group.

94 Mach Z 780 regardless what i do 5-7 mpg, But it goes like a bat out of HELL!!!

Wow, thanks for all the imput everyone. My honey is not so sad anymore.LOL We both got about 10 mpg- give or take a few. Guess that's not so bad after all.

Hey Maine Cat what kind of riding is that? Idle speed? My Buds 02 800efi get 11 to 13 MPG. But mostly 11 MPG because we go like hell.He gets about 1 mile a gallon better then I.
