Getting a couple different answers to what the TPS function is. Read that you should set the TPS voltage from 3.75 to 4.25 volts in a service manual for Pols. Why would Pol give you such a big margin for this setting? I have read through other sources DO NOT set it higher than 4.0 volts or you could lose your motor, also the higher the voltage setting, the more you advance the timing. What exactly does that do and what effect does it have on your sled as far as performance? I had mentioned to my dealer about poor gas mileage, he said he advanced the timing, i.e., increased the TPS to 3.99 volts. The stock setting was lower than this according to the paint marks on the screws. Sled runs great, it does like its fuel though LOL. Just want to understand the hows and whys on the TPS.
