PA no helmet law -bike & sled related

Well they finally got it passed in Pennslyvania. No helmets on bikes
Glad its over cuase I really got tired of hearing bout it
Just a thought: there's no law says ya gotta wear helmets on sleds, so why does every sledder wear one?? just tryin to keep their head warm or just plain common sense& if Harley made a plane would you ride in it?

Considering they've been doing something right to still be around after 100 years, I would.

Our state law makers are messed in the head. They pass the no helmet laws only weeks after saying you'll be fined for not wearing a seat belt. Pretty dumb.

men, you are lucky to have those "no laws" i mean it's a non sens to ride a motorcycle on a highway without a helmet or a seat belt but damn, i'm big enough to know if i wanna die or not. also if you wanna ride your custom bike at 30 km/h to the convenience store why putting a helmet or to go slowly on the main street on a warm summer saturday evening... this ain't more dangerous then riding a bicycle.

... like i will always say, laws are there for dumb peoples.

They make the little kids wear a helmet until their 12 years old for bicycle purposes then when they grow up and be a raghead they can leave the helmet behind while cruising down the freeway on a Harley. I hope my insurance doesn't take a hike because of it.

It must be "uncool" to stop at the New York State line and have to put a helmet on.

It's all insurance company driven crap! I wouldn't ride my sled without a helmet, nor drive my car without my seat belt on, but big brother telling everyone what they can, and cannot do has got to stop.I guess I can understand the "No Smoking" ban in public buildings, because I don't like breathing somebody else's smoke myself, but the ban on cell phone usage in vehicles, and some of the other crap is ridiculous. Like you say, if someone wants to ride without a helmet, or drive without a seat belt, fine, go for it! Pretty soon, we won't be able to FART in your own vehicle.

I heard that a guy was killed right after the law was signed down by Millville,he was not wearing a helmet from what I heard.Arctic Ed could confirm this.I bet insurance will be taking a BIG increase.I wear my helmet all the time.
