Mainecat, brand loyal idiocy is a terrible disease, isn't it? Why do some people think they owe the company something? There are certain models of every brand I can say I like, and there are pieces of junk models in every brand. I don't see where I have anything to gain by being loyal to any of them. If cat suddenly built a nice 4 stroke and it ran like the RX1 and was good in fit and finish, I would look at it.

The cat guys, when thier trusty steeds part this world for junkyard heaven, just get all red faced, take out the plug wrench knowing full well it is terminal, while trying to hide the obvious from thier sledding buddies. "Yayup, I knowed dem der plugs wuz no stinkin good cuz they's them engeekays made in Jaypann, dadgum slanties, ya know." Then comes acceptance, and a peace very much like the now permanently silent suzuki, and then they reminisce about all the races cat has won just so they could bring you this sled for your enjoyment.

wacker I buy whatever I want. If I was commuting to work on a sled maybe I would buy a Yamaha. They make nice sedans.

Skunk.......I'll be buying a new 05 sled, If Yammy doesn't have a lighter weight four banger with a factory turbo that puts out about 145 hp I'm gonna be looking elsewhere for what will probably be my last two stroker.

blah blah blah, same old same old. the cats guys need to justify why they buy what they buy. I guess we have never seen a wish list over on the cat site however, i mean they are perfect, and their owners never want more. CAT MAKES THE PERFECT SLED.. (laughing just typing this trash). I visit amsnow once a week and see skunk post there all the time, he is just obsessed with yamaha's and CFAD. It's almost wierd.

Mainecat, you buy Cat because as far as you're concerned no one else knows how to build one, and besides, you would look foolish riding a superior Yamaha sled after all the bashing you did. Cat sheep are the most loyal sheep on the face of the earth......And for what...LOL
