Looking For Opinions On ATV's

I have been looking at and riding some ATV's. So far I like the Arctic Cat the best. I rode the 500 and the 650 twin Cats. I like the 650 a lot. It has independant rear suspension, plenty of power and it looks good. I don't like the Yamaha Kodiak colors (Drab Green or Camo) or solid rear axle. Also, the 400 I rode didn't have low range. I need that where I will be riding in big rocks and steep terrain. Give me some opinions here, I'll be buying soon. You guys in Canada, how much does the Arctic Cat 650 go for? They're asking close to $8000.00 here.

Have you tried a Honda Rincon...or the Kawasaki Prairie???....I think you should try both of those before you buy a Cat...also did you try a Grizzly????

I personally like the Arctic Cats and the Polaris's. I would try out a sportsman 600 before I buy a Cat.

I don't follow them enough to give any solid input, Whacker... They're worlds different now than when I was involved with them. I've always kinda liked the Warrior.... Just a nice do-it-all machine. I'd love to have a quad again, especially around hunting season. Isn't it great fun shopping for new toys??????

If your looking for a work horse Honda is the way to go. Just look at the drive line angles and engine mounting position. No issues with mine or all my buds.

I'd have to say go with a honda, i don't think anyone else is even close to them

I have a foreman ES and it is great, no problems what so ever

I will have to say the new 700 twin EFI by Polaris is just plain awesome. I have left it out side for a week at below zero, and it stated right up. Just turn the key and go. No choke. It is great. I hope they all go this way.

The Kawi Praire 700 got the rave reviews as of lately. My friend Donny has the 650 Praire and loves it. I personally like the Yamaha & Honda models best.

Thanks for the input everyone. I haven't tried any of the Hondas yet, but this weekend I will. The only problem I have with the Polaris is they don't engine break well going down hill. At least the 03 I rode last year didn't. I rode the Kawasaki 500 Prarie last year, it rode good but didn't seem to have a lot of power. Have you guys seen the interchangable rack system on the Arctic Cats? They even have a camo blind that you unroll over the machine. It's going to be a tuff choice. Arctic Cat is offering a $69.00 winch as incentive, but Polaris is offering a free winch. Anyone know what Honda is offering?
