Ontario Motel Info

If anyone is looking to plan a trip in Ontario, I am working on a motel listing & trail distances for the snowmobiler. It covers the province from Kenora to Cornwall & all points in between.

Each listing includes the following info: location, whether or not there is trail access, restaurant present, trailer parking, gas availability, hot tub and/or pool, sled lockup, phone number(s) & web URL if online.

Email me at mxz_kris@sympatico.ca

You can check the lists at www.decassoc.net/tmsc/

I have seen some of the stuff the Tourism people put out here in Ontario. Some of it is OK, but a lot of the info is rehashed summer tourism info.

Also, the listing at the back of the Ontario Trail Map Atlas leaves a lot to be desired. A lot of towns are omitted & most towns listed have more places to stay than shown. If you don't pay you're not on that list.

As of today, there are over 1200 places of accommodation on the list I'm working on.

Check out the web site for the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs - http://www.ofsc.on.ca/ The site is very informative and has some great links to lots of destinations. Check it out and good luck!

If anyone in their travels in Ontario this summer stayed at any motels & were or weren't impressed them, please send me an email, so that I may update my listings.

I have just finished updating the motel list. There are now over 1600 places to stay at in Ontario listed. If you would like a copy of this list plus a town to town mileage list, email me at mxz_kris@sympatico.ca

Also, if you have received updated lists from me in the past & didn't get a email from me this week, send me your new email address. I had several emails get bounced back.
